- Migrate the data from Data Atlas into a relational database
Why?
- Enforce specific data restrictions without writing these rules ourselves
- Avoid inputting dirty data, maintain data cleanliness
- Improve AI responses (avoid junk in -> junk out)
AIU - AI Automated Underwriting
Goal
- reduce the number of errors that are caught in our data after loans are funded.
- verify the documents that are required to go into the loan folder are present before loan docs are created.
- have ai review documents, populate fields in Data Atlas, and track whether loans are ready to fund
- simplify downstream processes (like loan grading) by guaranteeing information
Why?
In prior weeks, there have been many QC reports that were caused by input errors. Wrong date in insurance expiration fields, for instance.
